Third day running

Now that I am back into blogging I can't stop. Oh well, seeing as though I haven't been here for a few months I might as well post cards like crazy.

Other than crafting I have a great interest in recycling or altering things and that is what I have done on this card. The little Japanese doll is part of the packaging from A Kimi doll product, I altered the doll by cutting out the dress from Japanese Yuzen paper. The round circle is a chipboard coaster that I covered with patterned paper, I sanded the edges to give the circle a clean edge. For a while my mum and I were collecting coasters from restaurants etc, I think I now have enough to last me a lifetime.

The challenges I have included-
Sketch-2 sketches 4 U, Laura's sketch #52
Bling-My Grafico
Reuse, renew, reuse-Practical Scrappers
Around the world-Crafty Creations
Someone special-Cute card Thursday
Dimension and texture-Polka Doodles
Use your patterned paper-Papertrey PALs
As you like it-Whopsi Daisy Challenge
Cute and girly-A spoon full of sugar
For the girls-Just Magnolia

What a great card. I love the little Japanese girl. I have been trying to recycle more in my crafting also. It's nice to know I sent one less thing to the garbage.

Oh my that is such an adorable card! I have the same Pink Paislee paper but never thought to use it the way you did. It's even better that you recycled the cute doll image. Thank you for the inspiration and for playing along with the Papertrey Pals challenge!
