I started working on this card sometime ago and only just finished it today. I was inspired to do this card after seeing all the lovely "home" cards in the latest edition of Paper Crafts in the "three cheers for chairs" section. I always enjoy looking at cards that form a scene, to me it really tells a story.
For this card I downloaded the lounge, cat and picture. The lamp was stamped and then scanned to make smaller. Using Open Office I put all the elements together in a 13x13cm square to form the lounge room scene. I printed the lounge room image on the background paper and then to add extra dimension I printed the picture, lampshade and lounge on patterned paper and stuck down using foam adhesive. I have saved this image on my computer so as to make this card again using different patterned papers.
The challenges I have included are-
Home sweet home, using ribbon-S2G Challenges
Cut it out-Pixie Dust
Use your patterned paper-Papertrey PALS
Anything goes-Crafty Anns
Digital images-Paper Cutz Challenge
As you like it-Whopsi Daisy Challenge
