Love this brooch deerly

Not so long ago my friend gave me this adorable lazer cut wooden deer brooch, I had every intention of wearing it but it just didn't happen, I'm not a brooch kinda girl. The other day I was looking at the brooch and just gave in, I pulled the pin of at the back off the brooch and began designing my card.

The first thing I did was print the sentiment on the craft cardstock using LainieDaySH font at 44 point. I then created the scene using a variety of patterned papers. The pine comb tree and the deer have been stuck to the card using self adhesive dimensional foam. I am really happy with the way this card turned out and when I see my friend again will ask her where she got the brooch from so that hopefully I can get some more.

I am extremely excited that I have been accepted to sell my handmade wares at Handmade Canberra. I applied to sell at the shop sometime ago and heard back yesterday, this is one of my favourite shops and I can't wait to be part of it. I will share some photo's later on of what I will be selling, just have to get busy creating.

The challenges I have included-
Allsorts challenge blog-Anything goes
