I love, love and love the trigger at Moxie Fab this week, if I was any good at sewing I would be sewing my version of the door hanging straight away but I am a very basic sewer so won't be attempting this just as yet.
For this card I rounded the corners first using a corner punch and stuck calico to thick card stock using jac self adhesive paper, I cut the edges of the fabric with a pair of scissors to neaten up. I then printed the house image and sentiment directly onto the calico, I am really happy with the quality of the printing and will definitely be doing this again. I stuck the green ribbon onto the card so that it resembles grass, the tree has been cut out from patterned paper and stuck to the card using self adhesive dimensional foam. The bird has been drawn onto fabric tape using a simple bird template and then cut out, have also stuck this down with self adhesive foam to add some dimension.
I have had a quick look at some of the submissions for the Moxie Fab trigger, they are all so different and lovely, take a look if you get the chance, you will definitely be inspired.
The challenges I have included-
Tuesday trigger: home sweet home-Moxie Fab
Joyful Stamper-Anything goes
Make it Monday-Anything goes in the linking party
Have a lovely weekend everyone and thanks so much for visiting :)
This card was published on pg 91 in the August audition of cards CARDS
