I stopped myself from making a love themed card

Let me just say that I nearly did make another love themed card but stopped myself and did something different to the cards I have been making of late. I also have a patterned background on this card which is out of the norm for me. For this card I drew on the hill and flower stems, the little Japanese doll is a digital image on which I changed the colour of the belt to go with the colours of the challenge, I paper pieced the sleeves and the Birthday sentiment is a rub-on. I absolutely love this simple sketch and hope I get a chance to work with it again.  I am happy with how this card turned out and now can make a few for  friends birthdays that are coming up.

The exciting news of the day is that I have got back into walking to the station in the morning, we now have my dad's car and have been driving everywhere, don't like this at all and hopefully will be walking again everywhere in no time.

The Challenges I have included-
Less is more-Week 52-Sketch
Make it Monday-Anything goes in the linking party

Hope that everyone is have a good week and thanks for visiting :)

This is a cute little image... presumably the patterned backdrop is the 'white space' on this card.
The flowers look lovely too!
I'm so glad you like the sketch.
Thanks so much

This is seriously cute! And well done for walking again, wish we could do more of that in Michigan but life here is totally geared around the car!
