For many years I have collected almost anything that has a peace sign on it. From my watch to my wallet to tea towels I have many things that have the universal peace sign as a design element. The other day when I went craft shopping I found these great Little Yellow Bicycle Free Spirit items. I just had to get most of the range although I had no idea what I was going to make with it, I just had to have it because of the peace signs.
I am so excited to come across this month's Moxie Fab World's SIGNS OF PEACE challenge. Being able to combine cardmaking with peace signs is huge for me and I am so happy that I have got to play with my new peace sign embellishments. I wanted this card to be bold and bright, I didn't have the right paper to achieve this so made my own paper using my 70's dingbat font. I created a black background and then added the flowers and title. I have to admit I am happy with the way this card turned out, all the fussing around with the size of the flowers etc was worth it. I have atlast found my long lost hemp thread, I knew it had to be somewhere and have also been able to add it to this card.
The other challenges I have included-
Photo inspiration- I absolutely loved this bright photo and was especially influenced by the black doona cover with the bright spots- Crazy 4 Challenges
