Playing along for the first time with a Moxie Fab Trigger

This Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger DANCING LANTERNS inspired me to make a bright and simple card including another one of my favourite things being lanterns. I was influenced by the Oriental theme of the card with the bright lanterns and the plain bacground. At first I was going to make a card with similar lanterns to the Trigger picture but can't find my lantern stamp. I computer drew the lanterns using simple shapes resembling lanterns and added Japanese printed rice paper to the lanterns to further accentuate the Asian theme. I wanted to use something other than a branch or string to hang the lanterns from so thought that the self adhesive pearl flourish would give the card an elegant and different look.

The other challenges I have included-
Including a bird-Oh, Alice!
