On a roll

today I took annual leave as I knew I would need it to recover from De La Soul yesterday. I was supposed to tidy up the house but will do it over the weekend (famous last words). Today I did the second challenge for the thirty weeks of Christmas challenge. This week I had to use aluminium foil on my creation, I knew that sooner or later I would be using kitchen items in my scrapbooking. This challenge was lots of fun, I did a LO on Bali as I thought an ornate border incorporating the foil would resemble the ornate design work found all over Indonesia. I stuck the foil onto thin cardstock with double sided tape, I embossed the pieces using my cuttlebug. Really happy with the result and I have already posted it on the gallery, never been so organized.

The second LO I did today was the May challenge for Scrapbooking Top 50 http://scrapbookingtop50.com.au/gallery/. On this LO I had to use chipboard, only two pices of cardstock and half of one 12x12 patterned paper. I am so used to using a variety of patterned paper so found it a real challenge. The reason why I am entering so many comps is I want to challenge myself to use new techniques etc, a prize at the end of it all will be a welcome bonus but certainly not the only reason for giving different challenges a go.

Have you recovered from the concert yet ? ;-)

Best regards from Germany and take care,
