My latest crafting craze, foiling is taking over my cards

I have recently discovered the joys of working with foil and I am absolutely loving this technique. I have always dreamed of printing in gold or metallic colours and at last I am able to do so and I can't believe how easy it is to do. I watched a few online tutorials of how to achieve foiled images with a laminator and images printed on a laser printer. If you don't already know about this technique and want to learn how to do it this tutorial by Jennifer Mcguire teaches you all that is needed to know to do gold foiling.

For this card I got the image of the stems and text printed at OfficeWorks as the image needs to be printed on a laser printer. I then transferred the foil onto the text as described in the tutorial. The flowers were punched out with my Christina Re flower punch onto which I added self-adhesive diamantes. I would definitely recommend this technique to anyone who wants to add a metallic look to their cards, I know I am addicted :)
