Off the edge has to be my favourite technique

As I have mentioned before I have always enjoyed using the off the edge technique on my cards. Being a CAS card maker I look for simple ways to add dimension and movement to my cards and this is such an easy technique to achieve this. I am having so much fun using my new images from Collective Collection, Etsy. This image I find is perfect for both males and females and I am sure I will use it many times over.

For this card I printed the quill and ink bottle image as well as the sentiment which has been done in Zapfino Linotype One font directly onto white textured cardstock . It has been printed so that the quill goes over the edge when cut out. I double printed the ink bottle, cut it out and stuck to the cardstock using self-adhesive dimensional foam. I added dimensional magic to the ink in the bottle to give the look of liquid.
