Sunday afternoon blogging

It's been a mixture of good and bad days since I last posted. On Friday, I had an awesome day with my mum and good friend in one of Sydney's loveliest suburbs being Mosman, it was so nice being able to have a proper outing with  mum after so long. Mum hasn't been in the best of health and so now that she is better we can hopefully start our jaunts again.

There was  a terrible storm yesterday, we had to unexpectedly drive to see our  very good friend's mother in hospital, it was really scary driving during the storm but we got to the hospital in one piece and spent some time there. Al and his family  are all  being amazingly brave during this very difficult time, my thoughts and prayers are with them. Yesterday was another example to me that life goes on no matter what happens and we all have to brave and support each other through the difficult times in life.

Today I am sharing a simple card that was inspired by the case study picture. I loved the  mixture of fonts, the colours, the flower with the green leaf at the back of the card and the flowered background at the back of the sentiment and included this all in my card. The main image on this card is a pre-coloured digital stamp, I can't find the details of who I purchased the stamp from. I used LainieDaySH and Trebutche fonts for the sentiment. The image was printed on my PC, cut out and attached to the card using self adhesive dimensional foam. The last thing I did was add a few diamante's to add that extra sparkle.

Leaving you with some inspiration from Psalm 120:1 which says, "I call on the LORD in my distress, and He answers me." Hugs and blessings...
