Happy Monday everyone, that's my attempt at being positive on a Monday, although I have to admit that it wasn't a bad Monday at all. I got to finish an hour earlier today at work as it wasn't too busy so that was awesome.
As soon as I saw the little orange felt heart I knew that I had to play along with the challenge over at Paper smooches. For this card I printed on the sentiment directly onto the card stock, the word love is a free digital image from Paper Smooches. For the heart I cut out two hearts the same size from the grey felt, I stitched the hearts together using a simple running stitch and put wadding into the heart to make it puffy. I stitched the aqua thread onto the heart so that the heart hangs loose from the thread, I stitched on a little bow to finish off. I really enjoyed making the heart although stitching really isn't my thing and once I find some nice coloured felt will be making some more hearts, can't get enough of a good thing.
