Royal Wedding fever is certainly in the air in Sydney, I have to admit at first I wasn't really interested in watching the event but closer to the time I joined in the fun and watched all the coverage of the wedding with my mum, it was such a beatuiful service that has certainly made it's mark in history. I absolutely loved Kate Middleton's dress, I think she looked absolutely beautiful. A few of my friends are attending royal wedding parties, sure they will have lots of fun, good to see everyone getting into the event.
Anyway, talking about weddings I made this card for my friend who needed a card for her cousin''s wedding. I at first was going to give her another card I had made but wasn't too happy with that card and so made her this one instead. The main image is a Softpencil image that I absolutely love, I paper pieced the birds and small heart. I made this card very late last night so needed to work with a design that I knew would work, I was way too tired to be experimenting with different designs. I am happy with the way this card turned out and now have a pattern to work with when I need to make a quick wedding card.
The Challenges I have included-
CR84FN-Challenge #25
Open theme-Creative Friday
Paper piecing-Wee Memories
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend. I am working 4 hours on Sunday but still looking forward to the rest of the weekend which is going to be a crafty one as I have to work on a few projects that friends have asked for.
I was one of the honorable mentions for this card over at Wee Memories
