Black and White with a splash of orange

I have been meaning to design a gift bag template for sometime, just haven't been motivated to do so. Yesterday my husband and I put our heads together and came up with a bag template that still needs some work but will do for now.

Once the template has been fine tuned I will post the template on my blog, its a really easy design to work with.

I came across this free clipart image of the stylish lady on the internet the other day and just knew I had to make something out of it. It has been so easy working with this image. I have just paper pierced the skirt, scarf and hand bag. I didn't want to do exactly the same pattern on the bag and so just added a splash of orange for the skirt and a black and white scarf. I will be making more of these little bags from now on, will try making different sizes.

The Challenges I have included-
Prairie Fairy Fridays-Inspired by a song. This card and gift bag was inspired by one of my favourite songs "Girl From Ipanema". I imagine the girl from the song to look like the stylish lady featured on this project.
Alphabet Challenge Blog-Ribbons.

thanks so much for visiting my blog, hope you have enjoyed your time here and I look forward to reading your comments.
