My tribute to the Commonwealth Games

At the moment the Commonwealth Games are on. After seeing the amazing Opening Ceremony I have re gained an appreciation of Indian art. I love the intricate designs and bright colours that are prominent in most things Indian. Paisleys is a common and beautiful Indian design and so I decided to use them when making the patterned paper for this card. The Paisleys are part of a 1970's dingbat font that I have got, they always come in handy. This is another card design that I will use for the many cards that I have to make.

The challenges I have included-
Melon and Green-The Play Date Cafe
Sketch (in previous post)-Waltzingmouse Sketch Challenge
Things in threes-Pile It On

Today is my day off and I am supposed to be cleaning up, I will start in about 15 mins and get the house back to a normal state. My Aunt is in town at the moment and I want the house to be presentable before she comes over. It will get done :)

I was chosen as one of the "cream in the coffee" winners for this card over at the  The Play Date Cafe
