Such beautiful colours, I just had to play along

I had every intention to make a card with these colours earlier this week but it just didn't happen. On that shopping trip I mentioned in my last post I also purchased some new Asian embossing folders which I couldn't wait any longer to work with. I just love the texture these folders add to paper, always fantastic to add that extra detail to a quick card.

I have now collected Japanese dolls for many years. I added to my collection a few years ago when I visited Japan. I seriously had to send my clothes home whilst backpacking so I could fit more dolls into my luggage, I couldn't resist buying all the beautiful dolls everywhere and I bet if I went back again I would yet buy more dolls.  I love the individuality of each doll, and will never part with any of them for as long as I live. I have got a friend who comes over and hides them, I literally go into moments of panic and then I realize that they have to be hidden and eventually find them.

I did this card following the colours over at Colour Q. One of the colours to work with was Wild Wasabi and at the same time I looked at my doll collection ,  isn't it funny the things we as card makers are infulenced by. I am also including this card for the challenge over at One Stop Craft Challenge, Oriental Delights.

Other challenges I have included-
Paper piercing-Allsorts challenge blog

I was chosen as one of the Colour Queen Courtiers for this card card over at Colour Q.
