Recently I went to a scrapbooking shop and purchased alot more than I should have, I am sure many of you can relate. The main things I got were chipboard pieces, I just love these little fish that I got on that shopping trip, I might just have to go back and get some more. I actually made this card for a friend who was meant to be coming to Sydney soon but turned up unexpectedly at my doorstep today, its funny how things happen. She is here at the moment as I am doing this post so I guess I won't be giving her this card. I don't normally post when I have company but really want to get this card in by the deadline.
To create the affect of water, I cut out waves using the same paper that the fish are placed on. I then stuck the waves next to each other. To me, this looks like water without adding any extra colour.
I included this card in two challenges being Embellish,Quirky-cutsey-clean style and Laura's #58 sketch over at 2 Sketches 4 U.
Anyway, hope you all have a good week. I myself am going to take one day at a time and make the most of each day. Things get pretty stressful for me at this time of the year. I work in the electricity industry and have to deal with everyone's winter high bills which can be very demanding. I do however work with a wonderful group of people who are always around when I need them for a laugh or words of encouragement.
Just to let you know that I am having a current giveaway, the details are all here. It's a bit of fun that I would love you all to get involved in.

Oops...I mentioned the wrong challenge, so I've deleted it and I'm trying again! Great minds think alike, right? It's funny that you say that because I was going to use the same sentiment you used, but it was too big for the center of my card. Your card is darling! Here's wishing good luck to both of us!

What fun!
I looooove those little fishes!! Cute Cute Cute card!
I hear ya on the demanding job. I'm in insurance and we had the largest hail storm in the history of Canada on July 12 so to say it's busy AND demanding is a bit of an understatement. One day at a time is really all we can do! Have a good day!
Suzanne this is just too cute!
Oh my goodness! Those fish are so cute! Thanks so much for playing along with us! Hugs from Denmark!
