When my husband read this quote he was very confused, he just couldn't get what it meant. My husband is someone who is constantly reading and knows a little about everything, I found it weird that he just couldn't get it. To me this quote means enjoy everyday and make the most of life, am I reading too much between the lines ?
I wanted this card to have an elegant and vintage look to it. I have always loved the look of black ribbon although one of my friends has said that he thinks it makes the card look morbid, each one to their own. Rub-ons again played a major part in this card, I just find them so easy to work with. I don't know if I have mentioned this before but I have finally found the perfect glue for ribbons, the glue is made by an Australian company called Bella and it is so inexpensive, no more frustration with trying to attatch ribbon to the many cards that I make.

Beautiful card and I love the vintage elegance! For me quotes mean whatever you want them to mean. For this one I would think of it as something joyful and happy!
