I am absolutely loving making bags at the moment. You could say I am going through a bag making phase.For these bags that I am making I draw the template with a ruler on a large piece of paper. I then cut out the template with a stanley knife. On the different sections of the template I stick patterned papers using double sided tape. I do this on both sides for decoration and this also makes the bag more sturdy. Before assembling the bag I punch four holes for the ribbon handle. I also put the ribbon edging on before sticking the bag together. There are so many different templates that can be made up, its just a matter of trial and error. If anyone is interested I can provide a template of the bag on this post.
