I didn't want to just put this special photo of my grandma in a frame and so made a wall hanging out of it making sure I used bright colours so that the photo didn't look too dull. My gran was in the Indian army and served as a Matron of a hospital so as you can imagine most of the photo's we have off her are very formal and very difficult to do anything with. I hope my mum likes this little gift. We miss my gran greatly and this is just a little something we can all remember her by.
The challenges I have included are
Polka doodles,anything but a card-http://polkadoodle.blogspot.com/
La la lands, embellish it-I have used three main embellishments being flowers, ribbon and metal charms-http://lalalandcrafts.blogspot.com/
Paper Maniac challenges,ribbon- I have used ribbon as the stems and also to hang the picture on the wall http://papermaniacchallenges.blogspot.com/
Tuesday Morning Sketches,ribbon-http://tuesdaymorningsketches.blogspot.com/
The second project I am including is a little project I did with a tin can. I covered the can patterned paper and embellished the can with patterned papers, trim and a quote. I put a base on the can through which I pierced holes and for the stems I cut out thin pieces of chipboard which I covered with patterned paper and stuck through the holes to form a bouquet.
