G is for green

I don't think I have done a monochromatic card before, I tell you what it is a challenge but lots of fun. Join us this week over at ABC-G IS FOR GREEN CHALLENGE.There is a whole lot of beautiful green ribbons as the prize this week. You never know you may just be the lucky winner.

I am trying to get my Christmas cards ready in time for the silly season this year, lets see if it happens. For this card I cut scallop strips out on my Cricut. I scored the scallops with a paper scorer and metal ruler so that the strips popped out and stuck them down with double sided tape so that they overlapped. I then cut out the shape of the tree with ruler and stanley knife, I think this is another technique I will be using again.

The other challenges I have included are-
A tall card-CAARDVARKS
Scalloped Christmas card-FABS BIG CHRISTMAS CARD CHALLENGE
Open Christmas themed project-WINTER WONDERLAND
Celebrate, in this case its Christmas-ONE STOP CRAFT CHALLENGE
Touchy Feely, this tree has plenty of texture :)-FUNKY FAIRYS CHALLENGE BLOG
