Sometimes you just have to give into retail therapy

The other day I just had to go to one of my favourite scrapbooking stores called Fantasia and shop. It was so much fun being there with my good friend Lin. I gave her a $50 Birthday voucher whilst we were there and we so enjoyed shopping, it had been about a year and a half since I had gone to this shop, that is a pretty awesome effort on my part. I purchased quite a few things whilst I was there including the wooden WOW, mini people set that is featured on this card. I absolutely loved this set and I know I will be using them over and over again on my cards.

This card was designed on photoshop using all the colours from this week's ColourQ challenge. A free heart image was used to create the nested heart design which was influenced by the inspiration picture from CASE Study. The word Congratulations has been done in Trebuchet font which I use when I want a simple font that still has an impact. I printed the heart with sentiment on my PC, cut to size and stuck it onto the backing card and lastly added the wooden couple. I am going to enjoy making this card in different colours and will be sharing any variations from this design.
