I'm a child of the 80's

Growing up I was a huge fan of Pac-Man although I wasn't very good at the game. The other day I was in a retro style cafe in the city and they had an old Pac-Man game there, this certainly brought back some happy childhood memories. I got the idea for this card after seeing the game, luckily I carry a notebook around to capture random ideas. I will have to go back to that cafe and play the game, I was in a hurry and so couldn't hang around to play, I might be gaming for many hours old skool :). I have been asked by the shop that I sell my cards at to come up with quirky love themed cards, I think this card fits into the category they are looking for.

The cards I have been making over the last two years when I haven't been blogging feature subjects from everyday life. I enjoy the challenge of designing a card that is based on everyday things around us. This card features  free digital Pac-Man images from which the background was created, the sentiment is printed directly on the background. The yellow and red images have been printed, cut out and stuck on the card with dimensional foam to make them stand out.

I have got quite a few ideas for cards featuring some unusual subjects, stay tuned to see what I come up with :)
