Blogging is for sharing giveaway

I just had to spotlight Rhonda for the month of August

This is the card that Rhonda shared in one of her entries. It has been made by her little two year old daughter, looks like talent runs in the family.

Rhonda has been visiting my blog for sometime now and is a regular who  leaves comments that I truly appreciate. She has entered my giveaway several times and she has so much to share on her blog and on the entries she has shared in this giveaway. Make sure to check out her blog at Rhonda's place to share, you will definitely be inspired.

I will be spotlighting a favourite entry by the end of  every month until this giveaway is over. Rhonda has  won a small prize that I will link up in the next few days.

The spotlight entry for the month of June was from Rochelle, Two tears in my bucket
The spotlight entry for the month of July was from Leanne, LEEARTS
*********************************************
It's time for a new giveaway on my blog, this giveaway is going to be a little bit different to what I have done in the past. With previous giveaway's people entering got extra points if they became a follower on my blog, this is not the case for this giveaway as I only want people to become followers if they are genuinely interested in my work and not just to win a prize. I would like as many people to enter as possible as I think this giveaway is going to be of benefit to everyone. All you have to do is share something that will inspire fellow bloggers.

This is my list of examples
*An inspirational quote
*Details of a challenge blog where people can enter their cards etc
*A creation that you are proud off and want to share with other bloggers
*Details of an online store selling handmade goods etc
*A book or movie that you have enjoyed and feel others would benefit from
*A tutorial of something you have made
*A music CD old or new that you think others will enjoy
*ways to raise money for a charity by selling your handmade goods
*ways to stay motivated and keep creating
*ideas to decorate your craft space and storage ideas
*ways to incorporate recycling in crafting
*Details of a giveaway you may be having on your blog

This list is only meant to give you an example of what can be shared, don't feel constrained by this list and feel free to just share, you can also get ideas to share from my "Check it out" section on this blog. If you can't think of anything that others might be interested in just leave a link to your blog for everyone to check out.

Extra details
*Everyone who enters gets five chances to win on each entry. You can enter as many times as you want and I would also appreciate it if you added the giveaway badge to your blog sidebar. The overall winner will be chosen using random org
*Everyone who enters Brittani's giveaway here will get an extra five points. Just make mention that you have entered the giveaway in your comment on this post. I would really like Brittani to get 30 followers on her blog as she will then have a great prize on offer.
*Please leave links that can be accessed easily, if any problems with this email me.
*The giveaway will run from 21.06.2011 to 31.12.2011. I will announce the winner on the 01.01.2012 and the prize details will be emailed to the winner by 05.01.2012. I am running this giveaway for so long to give people plenty of time to enter.
*You don't have to enter as an individual. If for example you are a member of a design team and want to make the team you design for known just leave a comment. You could maybe use the voucher as a giveaway for a future challenge.

*The prize is A $100 voucher to spend at a store of your choice

If more than 50 people enter I will have a smaller prize to give away. Also if you are not wanting the prize for yourself  I am more than happy to donate $100 to a charity of your choice, I will just have to be given clear instructions on how to do this.

I will also be spotlighting an entry towards the end of every month until the giveaway is over. For the month of August I have spotlighted Rhonda's place to share. Every featured entry winner will get to add this badge to their blog sidebar.

I really want lots of people to enter this giveaway as I know we all have something interesting and inspirational to share. I would also encourage everyone to check out each others links as this is the main reason I have organized this, we can all learn from each other in everything we do.

Such a great idea! I've been conflicted about what to share...there's so many incredible ideas and inspiration out there! I started looking into crafting blogs when I got my Cricut a year and a half ago...at the time I was mostly interested in making pop-ups. If anyone is at all interested in pop-up type projects, you MUST check out Extreme Cards & Papercrafting. She has wonderful tutorials for all levels, and provides lots of templates.
Thanks again for your great blog and inspiration, and for being such a good follower :)

No I am not entering my own giveaway. This is an entry I am doing on behalf of Lisa from Lisa's Fiber Creations.
"did you see other recycling things I did, used soda bottles to mail surprises to crafty friends, things you can include in the bottle are scraps of fabric, beads, paint sticks, charms, buttons and any kind of do dads... also we made fabric paper, you take a piece of muslin and with a sponge brush wet it all over with a mixture of 1/2 glue (Elmer's is fine) and water, then you take scraps of tissue paper or a thin wrapping paper and lay that on top and brush it down with the sponge brush and glue mixture. The tissue paper colors will bleed some which which make it look cool and then after it is dry you can use other mediums on it like stamping, scraps of fibers and threads, watered down paints, just keep experimenting..this was one of my favorites... I have also used soda cans cut up and sewn down onto a stiff interfacing and made postcards with them and then mail to friends..."

Follow the 3 R's & save the earth. Do not throw chocolate trays, wrappers & even boxes away. They can all be used. The Anton Berg chocolate liqueur box of 68 pieces has 4 compartments. I have used it to store color pencils of the same hue in each. See image of the box in this link...(http://di1.shopping.com/images1/pi/7a/b0/78/91311808-100x100-0-0.jpg)
Pretty chocolate wrappers can be used to make a background while chocolate trays can be used to make embellishments. I have used the Lindt chocolate tray & some pretty chocolate wrappers to make the card in this link...
AND the Brandy beans chocolate tray to make the card in this link...
I see many more uses with those trays & have collected them to use someday. So, DO NOT THROW CHOCOLATE TRAYS AWAY!

I thought I posted this earlier but I guess I was wrong. I have a card to share in which I have used wood shaving/scrapping and stamped a sentiment on it. It's gives an interesting effect esp if you are using a wood grain background or woodsy theme.
