Combining two of my favourite things (hearts and butterflies)

hi everyone,

all I can say is TGIF, I am sure all you bloggers out there can relate. I tried to do this card yesterday and I kept on getting everything wrong and I then gave up which I think was a wise decision. I have been surfing the net alot and I have finally realized that for me I like simple cards the best, I think the style is called CAS. I do love heavily embellished cards as well but a simple style would have to be my favourite.

I did this card for I left my heart in San Francisco challenge over at City Crafter Challenge Blog. As you may have already guessed the challenge is to include hearts and I challenged myself to have everything as hearts so in substitute of leaves I added tiny hearts, instead of flowers I used hearts and after some experimentation finally got the design right to make the butterfly out of hearts as well. I drew the design using open office as I can't even draw a simple design like this anymore, my Art teacher in school would be most disappointed as I used to be able to draw.

I am looking forward to this weekend although I have promised my husband to tidy up my craft room, it is SERIOUSLY messy at the moment and I have to get it cleaned, this is going to be fun, yeah right!!!. I do plan to also watch "Eat, Pray, Love" which was released today. Its one of my favourite books and I am sure they have done a good job with the movie as well, might watch this on Sunday with my mum. Hope all of you have a lovely weekend and do atleast one enjoyable thing if not several.

The other challenges I have included-
Butterflies-Flutter By Wednesday's

I was chosen as one of the SPOTLIGHT ARTISTS at CCCB for this card.

Incase any of you are interested I am having a current giveaway, all the details are here. I would love you to enter :) :)
