"Bling" it on

This is a wall hanging that I have done as a DT example over at If the Shoe fits...Scrap It!. Its a fun and easy challenge to include bling in your projects. Have a go and you could be the shoe of the week and get to display a fantastic blinkee on your blog.
I have made this project using the packaging of a Martha Stewart product. It already had the hook on the packaging which I kept on so that it can be hung up. On the original packaging I stuck the blue patterned paper and decorated it with rub-ons, buttons and bling, I rounded the corners off with a corner punch. I also stuck patterned paper at the back to cover the writing. There is some fantastic packaging out there that can be used in so many different projects. It's one of my aims to be as green as I can with my crafting, I am so happy every time I am able to use a recycled element in my work. Have a look at some fantastic recycled projects over at
Going Green Crafters & Artists

The challenges I have included are
Buttons I love to stamp
Quick and Cute My time to Craft
Buttons and Bling Humble Pie Stamps

***My comp is still going on till 18/10, I just need to get two more followers to give out 25 small gifts***

Fabulous idea! I love this wall hanging and the sentiment you have used. Best of all is the fact you have recycled to create it. (I really must look around and see what I could use too.) Thanks for the inspiration! Take care.
