Getting out of my comfort zone

This is my first time for me to have a go at making an altered item using the above colour combination. This great project is over at SPCC http://spcolorcombos.blogspot.com/. I have to admit I found it quite difficult to work with the above combo but luckily I had embellishments and papers for the colours specified. For this project I painted the canvas, the mixture of paint is dark green and white. The fabric flowers were just the right size for the project and the brown ribbon had just the right quote to finish the project off.

What a great project! I struggled a bit with this combo too...but it's fun to be pushed, huh?

Love it! Those flowers are super cute. I will admit, I actually had a tough time with this color combo myself :O) Purple is always a hard color for me to use.

Wow! I would have never guessed that was canvas... looks great! And thanks for your comment - I was a little apprehensive about using this shade of purple, in what should be a masculine themed LO, but I think it works!

Best,

Allison
