Who ever thought jars could look so lovely

A few months ago we went to a sustainability dinner organised by Pop-up Parramatta that focused on the non wastage of food and sustainability in our everyday lives. The food was amazing and the decorations on the table looked so so pretty, mainly a collection of jars on each table with beautiful flowers. I couldn't believe how gorgeous the  jars looked with the other recycled decorations. After this event I have been collecting jars both in digital forms and actual jars that I will do something with eventually. I was so happy when I found the challenge at Curtain call, it gave me an excuse to use one of my favourite digital jar images from Ginger World, Etsy.

The first thing I did on this card was add the orange rectangle on open office that is meant to be the table on which the jar is on. I then added the digital image of the jar of flowers and the sentiment. I paper-pieced the flowers and added dimensional magic to the inside of the jar to make it look like water, this dried quite quickly due to the hot weather but I would normally recommend to wait for at least an hour for this area to dry.
