Cold weather is for blogging

hi everyone,
I didn't think I would be here again as I had every intention of going out and doing something being Sunday and all. I however woke up and decided it was too cold to go out. My husband made a delicious lunch that we both thoroughly enjoyed, he truly is a fantastic cook. We were meant to go for a walk sometime today but again it just didn't happen, gotta have lazy days with nothing specific to do.

Last Sunday when I first started blogging again I had the goal to make atleast five cards from that day and I am happy to say that I have done it. Another reason I am making so many cards is to sell them at a fundraiser to raise funds for the people of Cambodia. I travelled through this beautiful country about three years ago and absolutely loved it. In a way I am happy that I wasn't fully aware of the situation of Cambodians until I came back in a selfish way it would have got in the way of me enjoying my holiday. I am so happy that I am able to combine my love of crafting with raising money for a very worthy cause.

On this card I feel as though I am cheating as the main image is cut out from a beautiful piece of Websters pages paper, I really didn't have to do too much with the image. I used metal lettering for the sentiment , these letters have been stacked away for years in my stash, its about time I used them.

The challenges I have combined
Sketch-Cute card Thursday
Baby card-CCEE Stampers
Pearls-Add a pearl
Seeing Spots-Meljen's designs
3D-Charizma cards
Flower Power-Stampavie and more
Encouragement/Celebration-Crafty Creations
Unused stash-ABC
Patterned paper-Practical Scrappers
Two of something-Stamp something
Something new-Bee Crafty
Another weekend gone so quickly, have a good week everyone :)
